Miss Deborah is an Active Member of the following organizations, which open several opportunities for you:
- The National Guild of Piano Teachers makes it possible for Miss Deborah to enter her students into the National Piano Playing Auditions each spring, where they are independently critiqued by a judge and awarded certificates at the national level based on their levels of mastery, from elementary to advanced (including collegiate).
- The Maryland State Music Teachers Association allows Miss Deborah to enter her students into state competitions for all levels of study. The Spring Festival for piano solos and ensembles are just two of many competitions open to her students.
- The Greater Columbia Music Teachers Association offers local networking and other exciting performance opportunities for both teachers and students.
